Stage 1 - Piston rings
I've found little information about the rings so dimensions have been taken from ordinary rings and adapted to the LS7 piston diameter.

Stage 1 - Piston head
The information I have found surfing the net was the piston diameter (105,775mm) and the rod retaining pin center to piston top face distance (28,194mm).

Welcome!
Hi there! My name's Xavi and I'll publish one of my projects as a Mechanical Engineering student. I'll provide you with images and the parts and assemblies in Solidworks file format however, I can export them to another format if needed so.
You can't be a true petrolhead without knowing the Chevrolet LS7 overhead valve engine. Given the actual environmental issues and let's face it, we should move on from petrol, these machines will become nothing but pieces of art. So this could be a tribute to this incredible machine that has been perfectioned through the decades without losing its soul.
Since the main goal of this blog is to receive some feedback from the community so I can improve my work and my skills (and my English), should you have additional information, I kindly ask you to contact me in order to improve the drawings and please, feel free to redistribute the whole project according to the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License.
